Our goal is to raise $1,500 in order to supply Chansor health clinic with laptops and a tablet. Currently they provide medical care without any access to modern technology. Remember the last time you went to the doctor? Think about all the technology you came across that helped in improving your medical care. Likely the medical staff checking you in had a computer they were using, the room you were given care in had a laptop or computer, which your medical provider used to help diagnosis and update your medical records, and when you checked out, you spoke to someone using a computer, which was used to book your next appointment. At Chansor, all their medical records are handwritten. They currently have no access to needed online medical tools, databases, and other websites that would help them provide the best medical care. Your donation will help us deliver these laptops this summer to the medical staff at Chansor.
In addition to providing improved medical care to the local Chansor villages, these laptops and tablet with help medical professionals to track and provide much needed medical reporting. This summer, interns from Brigham Young University will be traveling to Cambodia to help our little clinic collect data and educate the Chansor medical staff on how to collect data by tracking incidents, prevalence of disease, and medical conditions. This essential task of medical reporting will help our clinic get access to more government aide and meet important clinical standards of care.
Your donation could literally help save a life!
